چکیده

The article discusses the solution to problem of underground railway transport slipping in dynamic modes, which occurs when there is a significant difference speeds driving and driven pairs wheels. state rail surfaces largely determines coefficient adhesion, therefore, using mathematical model, condition for dependence magnitude tractive effort selected. For effective acceleration deceleration an electric locomotive, it necessary control adhesion at certain level. A simulation model rolling stock has been created, first time takes into account mechanical system with distributed parameters. In structural diagram automatic traction drives frequency regulation, such factors as volume goods being moved, friction, slope (rise) levels track are taken account. results show features movement stops freight train not only by diagrams speed forces modes acceleration-deceleration uniform movement, but also positions plungers on couplings locomotive all trolleys involved goods. practical application proposed method lies possibility starting heavily laden from its place ascent section conditions insufficient contaminated roads.

Efficient Sensorless PMSM Drive for Electric Vehicle Traction Systems

With ever increasing oil prices and concerns for the natural environment, there is a fast growing interest in electric vehicles (EVs). However, energy storage is the weak point of the EVs that delays their progress. For this reason, a need arises to build more efficient, light weight, and compact electric propulsion systems, so as to maximize driving range per charge. There are basically two wa...

Integrated Traction Control Strategy for Distributed Drive Electric Vehicles with Improvement of Economy and Longitudinal Driving Stability

This paper presents an integrated traction control strategy (ITCS) for distributed drive electric vehicles. The purpose of the proposed strategy is to improve vehicle economy and longitudinal driving stability. On high adhesion roads, economy optimization algorithm is applied to maximize motors efficiency by means of the optimized torque distribution. On low adhesion roads, a sliding mode contr...

Electric Fi Elds Drive Spins

Spin is the only internal degree of freedom of an electron, and that raises two interesting, closely related questions. First, what kind of new physics emerges when the processes traditionally attributed separately to electron charge and electron spin become closely interconnected? And second, to what sort of new electronic devices might this physics lead us? Success in applications has the pot...

Impacts of Cooling Technology on Solder Fatigue for Power Modules in Electric Traction Drive Vehicles: Preprint

This paper presents three power module cooling topologies that are being considered for use in electric traction drive vehicles such as a hybrid electric, plug-in hybrid electric, or electric vehicle. The impact on the fatigue life of solder joints for each cooling option is investigated along with the thermal performance. Considering solder joint reliability and thermal performance, topologies...
